Today in perceptual development class we worked on some gross motor skills including jumping, hopping, throwing and twisting. Lots of fun was had by all!

Thank you Stacey from Sound for You for volunteering your time to teach our children. Our learners are thoroughly enjoying using the iPads, headphones and sound equipment to create and make new beats.
The heat did not stop us from exploring all the beauty that the gardens had to offer! We had a fun day learning about plants and our senses as well as planting our own water-wise seedling. The Boomslang was a bit scary for some but we made it across.
Lessons outside can be fun and exciting while enjoying the beautiful weather.

Term 1 extra murals began with a bang. Great to see our learners participating in the mainstream extra murals.

Today in class we discussed healthy food options for our lunch boxes.The students chose between healthy and unhealthy food choices. Our goal of the lesson is to encourage healthier lunch box options.
