We celebrated Montagne Day with two beautiful Masses where we reflected on the importance of being Marist and caring for each other, and our wider community.
Our learners continue to excel, both on the chessboard and in academic arenas. At Derby Day, our chess teams shone brightly, taking the overall win against St George’s Grammar and the American International School. Their focus, strategy and teamwork are a reflection of the dedication they bring to every challenge.
Beyond sport, our pupils were also selected to participate in the prestigious South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) Interschools Quiz. This enriching experience gave them the chance to engage with critical global issues, test their knowledge, and represent St Joseph’s with pride.
These moments highlight how we nurture well-rounded learners at St Joseph’s Marist College. Whether through sport, academics or cultural opportunities, we encourage every child to grow in confidence, curiosity and excellence.
The Gr 6 pupils enjoyed their time together on camp in Betty’s Bay and forged important bonds while learning to work together harmoniously ahead of their Gr 7 year as leaders of the Junior School. Thank you to all staff involved in ensuring their wellbeing and positive interactions during this time away.
