Many rehearsals lead up to our Marist Music Festival on Human Rights Day. Our children did us proud with their musical performances alongside the other school bands and artists that were invited to our big event. It was a wonderful community based event that celebrated our Marist Family, music and our beautiful campus.

It has been wonderful to see the results of the children’s continuous assessments for Term 1 and I thank the teachers for their consistent dedication in getting the academic year off to a good start.
The pupils and parents were entertained with lunchtime concerts during Music Week and with marimba performances in the early mornings. Celebrating musical talent and encouraging appreciation of concert performances is part of life at St Joseph’s.
We celebrated St Joseph’s Day with two beautiful Masses and it was wonderful to have many parents join us for this occasion. We were also pleased to have Dr Evona Rebello (Director of the Catholic Schools Office) present for our special feast day. After the children received their treats, the Junior School enjoyed the gala in our beautiful new pool, while the Senior School enjoyed a number of fun sporting activities.
The Inter-Catholics Athletics at Greenpoint Stadium was a wonderful occasion, filled with many proud moments for pupils, parents and staff. Our pupils gave it their all and we walked away with many medals on the day.
Our St Joseph’s Day Masses were a beautiful way to come together as a Marist community on this special day. It was wonderful to have many parents and guests joining us. Happy St Joseph’s Day!
Our two special Ash Wednesday Masses and a service for our little ones were a fitting start to the season of Lent.
Our Shrove Tuesday celebrations were enjoyed by all as we shared in delicious pancakes ahead of the start of Lent.
