Today we went to Pick ‘n Pay Kenilworth Centre, to find the items on our shopping lists that we created during maths class.
There was lots of chatting, concentration and fun had by all.
A wonderful evening was had by all who attended our annual fundraiser at Theatre on the Bay – Here’s to You – The Simon & Garfunkel Songbook.

Today Teri played some warm up games with us, we practiced our mount, basic seat, bench and dismount on the drum. We were a bit nervous but had load of excitement mounting Amadeus and practicing our vaulting moves.
We also had a chance to meet two of the dogs today. Forest is the big ridgeback and Marley is the smaller black one.

Sexuality classes are taking place for both the junior and senior classes. In the junior class we are currently discussing safe and unsafe touches. The senior learners are focusing on different types and steps in a relationship.
In English today we used loop cards to learn about collective nouns. Lots of fun was had by everyone!
Today we played some warm up games. We were taught various skills on a metal drum such as how to mount the horse, sit in the ‘basic seat’ and ‘bench’ positions and then get off the horse. Finally we got to touch our horse Amadeus and say hello.
