Bridging Class

Our Foundation Phase and Intermediate Phase Bridging class caters for pupils who require remedial intervention in order to experience success at school.

Pupils may require short term intervention in the bridging class before returning to the Mainstream, others may remain in bridging for a number of years as they benefit from the class size of up to 12 pupils with a teacher and an assistant.

If a child is performing below the level required for the CAPS curriculum in the bridging class, a trial week in the SNU may be recommended following further educational assessment.
