Our Pre-Primary provides a nurturing environment, where each child is known and loved. We believe in learning through play and developing the whole child, ensuring that morals and values are an intrinsic part of their learning opportunity. At St Joseph’s we embrace the uniqueness of each pupil and celebrate their talents and successes.  

As a Google school, learning continues online, assuring curriculum delivery at all times and allowing for group classes for continued interactive lessons, as well as one-on-one sessions for learning sounds or practising initial reading and numeracy skills. 

On campus, each pupil has a teacher and assistant to guide them and, with classes of 25 or less, individual attention is our speciality.

Our learning support team is always available on site for any assistance required and a host of sporting and cultural extra-murals are offered daily for a well-balanced school experience. The little ones thoroughly enjoy choosing books from our library or attending coding lessons in our IT classes.

We ensure that our Pre-Primary children are thoroughly prepared for our Grade 1 classes, and the natural transition into our Junior School allows this next step in their educational journey to take place within a familiar, nurturing environment. The solid Pre-Primary foundation provides our pupils with great opportunities for success.
