Procedure

To enrol your child at St Joseph’s Marist College, you would need to complete the relevant application form and return it to the school with certified copies of the following:

  • learner’s birth certificate
  • learner’s baptism certificate (if Catholic)
  • learner’s latest school report
  • learner’s clinic card (both sides and for playschool, pre-primary and junior school applications only)
  • parent’s identification document

Failure to return these documents with the application form will mean that the application will not be processed until such time that all the necessary documents have been sent to the school.

Once this has been received, an appointment for an interview with the relevant parties will be scheduled.

On acceptance to the school, a fee deposit of R3 500 per child needs to be paid to secure the place. This deposit is refundable when the child leaves the school. At the beginning of each year a Parent/Teachers Association levy of R300 per family needs to be paid, in addition to school fees. School fees are payable either monthly, per term or annually.
