Playschool

Our Playschool takes care of children from the ages of 2 – 4 years old. Although the day officially runs from 08:30 – 12:00 your child is welcome from 07:00 until 12:30. This class of 20 children, is overseen by a qualified and experienced teacher and two assistants.

The teacher plans the weekly Playschool programme which places the emphasis on learning through play and having fun. Children can explore the various areas in the classroom and “work” according to themes planned and guided by the teacher. The children also participate in Art & Craft activities, sing together and move to music, are taught rhymes and are read to on a regular basis. Our outside play equipment ensures development of gross-motor and fine motor muscles, co-ordination and balance as well as social skills. Fridays, in this area, are bike days and children are welcome bring along their scooters to start learning road etiquette.
