The Big Walk is a Community Building Initiative that takes place annually and promotes the importance of outdoor activity and a healthy lifestyle.

Registration takes place at St Joseph’s Marist College, Belmont Road, Rondebosch from 09:00. The walkers leave the school grounds at 10:00 for their journey around Rondebosch Common. Marshalls and water stations are present along the route.

Upon returning to school, there will be Marimba Bands playing, a food stall and a Cake Sale. The event ends at 12:00.
